Christian Wood is a British guitar specialist with over 14 years of teaching experience, delivering lessons to hundreds of students across all ages and abilities. Having completed a Master of Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Christian moved to Dubai and spent 9 years teaching at some of the region's best international schools.

Teaching is more than technique. It is about unlocking each student's unique musical voice. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or preparing for performance grade exams, Christian tailors every lesson to the individual, working at your pace, toward your goals, and in your style. Students range from young beginners to adult returners, spanning classical, acoustic, pop, rock, and fingerstyle.

Christian teaches music theory from the ground up through to diploma level. Many students come specifically for ABRSM Grade 5 theory preparation, the gateway exam required before taking any ABRSM Grade 6 to 8 practical, and leave with the confidence and knowledge to pass first time.
